Balingua: what they say...

I really liked the site. I had a go at a little bit of each language and found that for me, the Japanese and Chinese was perfectly paced. For beginners I think that the speed suits uptake of the target language. In terms of navigation, the site is easy to use, it is very clear without being patronising. In truth I would like to spend more time trying to really learn one of the languages given to see how I learn with it.                          Kathryn, England

Thank you for creating and offering the Balingua internet-based language practicing and learning service. C'est exactement ce qu'il me faut pour que je puisse ameliorer mon allemand. I enjoying listening to Denise and imitating her German, and my wife Kate and I look forward to the Italian version after we return in June from three weeks in Milan.

Based on the CERAN training in French that Kate and I took in 1994 and 1995 after I had met Rene at a reception in the Arlington (Virginia) Hyatt Hotel in 1993 when I was Vice President, Personnel Services for Lafarge in the U.S. and Canada, on my training in the Cambridge CELTA program to teach English to adults and experience teaching at a variety of language schools in the Washington, D.C. area and abroad, and then on the CERAN training in English that Kate and I gave in 2001 and 2002, I can recommend the oral question and answer approach that Balingua uses as one of the best ways to convert passive knowledge about a second language to active, spontaneous and effective use and enjoyment of it.

So, thank you and best wishes for every success!
